The product connects to whichever ledger the client runs — Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, Exact, Dynamics — and pulls a trial balance into a templated period-end workpaper, where reconciliations, adjustments, and partner review happen in a controlled, version-controlled environment. Company discloses 1,000+ accountancy practices worldwide, including all Big Four, 90% of large Belgian firms, and 30 of the UK Top 100.

Founded in Belgium and acquired by Visma in 2023, Silverfin sits comfortably in the "agentic when it counts" bracket. The product doesn't take autonomous action over a client's ledger; it automates the workpaper assembly, variance commentary, and review-trail steps that are traditionally manual within the firm.
