Quanta is the earliest-stage new entrant that belongs on the index for head-to-head comparison purposes: it's the most focused challenger to Puzzle on the "AI-native startup bookkeeping" primitive. Founded by Helen Hastings (ex-Affirm) and Theodora Chu, the product launched in GA February 2025 with an Accel-led seed and Elad Gil participating. Pre-built sub-ledgers for Brex, Mercury, and Stripe are the wedge.
At seed stage, traction and coverage are necessarily thinner than the Series-B cohort. The product is narrower than Puzzle today but has sharper primitives for venture-funded startups whose entire financial stack runs on those three fintechs. Reassess against Puzzle and Truewind each quarter.
