Finmatics is the tax-advisor-channel complement to Candis in DACH AP automation. Vienna-HQ, Germany is the primary growth market via a Berlin office, and the company reports deployment across ~50,000 companies and 900+ tax firms. Acquired by Visma in April 2025, which gives it Nordic distribution including Sweden.
The distinction against Candis is audience: Finmatics targets the Steuerberater channel, Candis targets the corporate AP team directly. For a German tax firm rolling agentic AP out across client books, Finmatics is now the Visma-channel choice. For a German mid-market company buying AP-automation for itself, Candis remains the sharper fit.
